16 Apr Flu Vaccination Reminder for September/October 2016
A reminder for you that in September/October 2016, HOHS will be giving Flu Vaccinations at Stephen Taylor House in Harlow. There is no better time to protect yourself and/or your workforce – can you afford to lose productivity this Winter due to illness?
In an average year, between 20% and 30% of your workforce will succumb to the influenza virus. The results:
Reduced staff efficiency and customer service levels
- Increased temporary staff costs
- Missed deadlines
- Lost business
- Lower staff morale
HARLOW OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE LTD is again offering influenza vaccinations this Autumn.
THE COST (same price as last year..!)
Influenza vaccination gives approximately 75% protection against the influenza viruses, but not against ordinary colds. It is recommended for those suffering from bronchitis or heart complaints (with their Doctor’s permission). It is not recommended for those who are pregnant, and anyone suffering from hay fever or asthma should consult their own Doctor before seeking immunization.
Individual vaccinations will be given at HOHS, Stephen Taylor House, in pre-allocated sessions from September/October 2016 onwards.
For bookings of no less than 20 – 30 employees, vaccinations may be able to be given on site. This has to be by prior arrangement and dependant on the on-site facilities being suitable.
